Winwood Lodge
"There are no strangers here;  only friends we haven't met yet."

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I get to the club?
Directions: From the Boston area take Route 95 North to the Spaulding Turnpike (Route 16). Follow Route 16 North into N. Conway. In the center of town, just after the movie theater on the right and the train station on the left, turn right onto Kearsarge Road (traffic light) Follow Kearsarge for about 1.5 miles. The Ski Wheelers' lodge (also known as the Winwood Lodge) will be on your left, just before the Isaac Merrill House.

Can I come up as a guest and bring some friends with me?
Of course you can if there are beds available. The more the merrier!

Can I stay in the same room as my boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse?
During organized weekends when the lodge is full, all rooms are single sex with the exception of two co-ed rooms that members can reserve in advance. If fewer than 45 people are at the lodge, you can cohabitate with the permission of others staying in the room, or vacating it, as the case may be. During the off season, there are no rules regarding cohabitation.

Can I bring a pet?
Pets are not permitted during the ski season or during summer organized weekends. During the non-skiing season, pets are allowed in the owner's room as long as no roommates object.

Can I bring kids?
We're sorry; the club is really not geared for kids.

Is smoking allowed in the club?
Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the lodge or in the enclosed side porch.

Can I leave equipment at the lodge?
Yes, there is a locked ski room, and a back storage room for other pieces of equipment. Most of the bunk rooms have bureaus and closets for storing gear as well.

Can I get more information about the club?
Of course... if you have any questions at all, and/or would like to speak to a few members to get a feel for the club, please don't hesitate to contact us.
